THE COURSES
SJW School specialises in intensive English Language courses
for adults from overseas. The minimum age of SJW students
is 18. There are three courses, and they all offer intensive
practice in listening, speaking, reading and writing skills,
using a wide variety of skills books and materials. Audio
and video equipment is used in class. All courses offer 25
lessons of fifty minutes per week, 0900 to 1420, Monday to
Friday:
From January to June and from September to December, MAINCOURSE
offers intensive tuition in groups with a maximum size of
8 students. There are classes at Elementary, Lower Intermediate,
Intermediate, Upper Intermediate and Advanced levels. There
are no classes for beginners.
From March to June and from September to December,
Academy SJW also offers CAMBRIDGE UNIVERSITY EXAMINATION
CLASSES. There are two levels of class: First Certificate
and Advanced Certificate. These classes run for 14 weeks,
and the school offers an Exam Pass Guarantee. There is
a maximum of 8 students in each class. IELTS training
is offered regularly during the year, with a maximum
of 10 students per class.
In June, July and August, SUMMERCOURSE offers intensive
tuition in groups with a maximum size of 10 students. There
are classes at Elementary, Lower Intermediate, Intermediate,
Upper Intermediate and Advanced levels. There are no classes
for beginners.
